Banned Butt Groper Returns to Shamrock Plaza Publix

A man threatened a store manager Sunday afternoon at the grocery store.

A man banned from Shamrock Plaza's Publix last month for groping a shopper's butt returned to the grocery store Sunday and threatened an employee, DeKalb County police said.Β 

The man showed up shortly after 1:30 p.m. and was approached by a manager who told him he was not allowed in the store, the police report said.

"I will kick your [butt]!" the man screamed as he took a fighting stance. "I will take your balls off!"

The manager said he called 911 and asked for an officer, but no one showed up. (A police officer working at the grocery store part-time was told about the incident later that night and filed a report.) The manager said he feared for his and others' safety.

The man was first informed May 20 he was banned from the store due to an incident captured on a security camera four days earlier when he allegedly assaulted a female shopper by grabbing her bottom and placed his hand near his face to smell or taste it, the report said.

The manager was advised how to take out warrants at DeKalb County Magistrate Court.
