Briarcliff Association Alerts Neighbors to Solicitors, Vandalism

The association posted about the vandalism over the weekend.

The North Briarcliff Civic Association recently alerted followers on its Facebook page about door-to-door soliciting in the area and an incident of vandalism. The updates were also put on the group's website.

On Sunday, Aug. 4, the association posted:

NW ALERT: VANDALISM SATURDAY 8.3

House window broken by bb gun pellets. This incident occurred around 9:30 pm; the neighbors live on Brookdale, beyond Brookcliff. They called 911.

Call 911 if you have any information on this.

Two days earlier, on Friday, Aug. 2, the association wrote:

NW ALERT: TODAY 8.2 MORE DOOR TO DOOR SOLICITING. Lower Cravey area.
Be careful- and don't be afraid to call 911.

From a neighbor:

"Two men in blue button down shirts and black slacks knocked on my door just moments ago on lower Cravey Drive, when I didn't answer the door, they attempted to open the door and walked away. Please be careful and remember to set your alarms!"
