Armed man, woman rob man during Briarhill Lane home invasion
A man wielding a knife and a box cutter and a female partner forced their way into a Briarhill Lane home Tuesday evening and left with $1,000, DeKalb County police said.

There was a knock at the front door of the home in the 800 block of Briarhill Lane at about 7:35pm, the police report said. The 20-year-old victim opened the door, and a man clutching the knife and box cutter and the woman pushed their way in. The man held the knife to the man's neck and the box cutter to his groin while he searched the victim's pockets.

The male robber took $1,000 from the victim while the female tried unsuccessfully to rob other people in a back room. Both suspects ran out of the home, jumped in a vehicle and left the scene as the victim chased after them, the report said.

The first suspect was described as a white male between 20 and 25 years old, about 6 feet tall with a heavy build and mustache who was wearing prescription glasses, a black sweat shirt and black pants. The second suspect was described as a black female between 20 and 25 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with black hair in a pony tail, wearing a burgundy sweater, a black skull cap and black pants.

They drove a silver Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis with tinted windows, Georgia tags and a "bad paint job," the report said.

Gun pulled in Colonial Way domestic dispute
A man pulled a gun and threatened the son of his mistress in a Colonial Way way home Tuesday morning, police said.

The suspect, who is married, had been seeing the 36-year-old woman at the home in the 3100 block of Colonial Way for four months, the woman told police, according to the police report. The two argued over personal items he left at the house and wanted back at about 9:35am. They did not live together.

The woman's 20-year-old son heard the argument, and as he approached them, the suspect pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at him, the report said.

"Go ahead and shoot because you are not going to talk to my mom like that," the son said.

The suspect left the home and drove off in a silver BMW. The son said the suspect worked for him in the past.

TV, computer printer stolen from Brookdale Drive home
Someone broke into a Brookdale Drive home Sunday evening and stole a large, flatscreen TV and a computer printer, police said.

The 79-year-old victim told police he left his home in the 2500 block of Brookdale Drive at about 7:30pm and returned about 15 minutes later, the police report said. His 42-inch flatscreen LCD TV and HP computer printer worth about $1,600 together had been stolen.

Victim: Wallet stolen during Chesterfield Drive break-in
A woman told police someone broke into her Chesterfield Drive home earlier this week and stole a wallet containing $15.

The woman said someone broke into the home in the 1900 block of Chesterfield Drive between 10pm Monday and 8am Tuesday, according to the police report. She then said she may have lost it in her house.
