Woman arrested on prostitution charge near Plymouth Colony
An Atlanta woman was arrested Feb. 3 on a prostitution charge after she propositioned an undercover police officer near the Plymouth Colony community, DeKalb County police said.

The officer spotted Keona Headen, 36, standing in the 2700 block of Shallowford Road shortly before 10pm, the police report said. The officer parked his car, Headon approached and said, "Are you going out?"

"Yes," the officer said.

Headen told the officer to drive away from the area because police were conducting a traffic stop nearby. The officer found her later walking south on Johnson Road. She got in the car, propositioned the officer and was quickly arrested by waiting officers.

She was transported to DeKalb County Jail.

TV, laptop stolen from Camden St. Clair apartment
A TV and a laptop were stolen from a woman in the apartment complex off Briarcliff Road on Feb. 3, police said.

The 26-year-old woman said she returned home shortly after 1:30pm to find her front door damaged and two items missing from her apartment: a 42-inch Samsung TV and an Apple Macbook laptop valued together at about $2,600, the police report said.

Man's car stolen on Blackwood Road
An 85-year-old man on Blackwood Road told police his car was stolen between Feb. 3-4, police said.

The man, who lives in the 2900 block of Blackwood Road, told police he last saw his Toyota Camry at about 11pm Feb. 3, the police report said. The vehicle was left unlocked. He noticed the car was gone the next morning at about 11am.

Man's tires slashed on Biltmore Drive
A 35-year-old man on Biltmore Drive told police someone slashed all the tires on two cars at his home Feb. 7.

The man, who lives in the 1400 block of Biltmore Drive, showed an officer the slashed tires on his 1999 Honda Odyssey and a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban. He said the crime occurred between midnight and 1:30am, the police report said.

There were no witnesses.
