iPods stolen from Emory area home in burglary
A burglar broke into a home in the Emory University area and stole two iPods, among other items, Tuesday afternoon, DeKalb County police said.

The 41-year-old victim said her nanny left her home in the 1900 block of Westminster Way at about 2:20pm and locked all the doors, the police report said. When the victim returned home at 3pm, she noticed damage to a rear basement door where someone entered. Nearly $500 worth of items were stolen, including an iPod, an iPod Nano, a pocket knife and $20 in cash.

Leaf blower stolen from lawn service crew on Castleway Lane
A leaf blower was stolen from a lawn service crew March 16 while it worked along the street, DeKalb County police said.

A woman with the crew told police the crew arrived to a lawn in the 1800 block of Castleway Lane at about noon to work, the police report said. Hours later, when she returned, the blower was no longer in the bed of the crew's truck. It was valued at about $500.
