A selection of recent crimes in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area reported to DeKalb County police.

Two men robbed at gunpoint on Buford Highway
Two men walking down Buford Highway were robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning, DeKalb County police said.

The victims, a 27-year-old and a 19-year-old, were walking south in the highway's 3200 block when they were approached by three suspects shortly after midnight, the police report said. The first suspect pushed the barrel of his gun into the 27-year-old's stomach and said, "Give me your money or I will kill you," and pointed the gun at his face.Β 

The victim gave the suspect $30. A second suspect pointed a white gun at the 19-year-old victim, and he handed over his cell phone and $30. The suspects fled as an arriving officer witnessed the incident.

Thief breaks into car while victims walk in Thompson Park
A thief broke into a car and stole an iPod, a wallet and cash while the victim was strolling in W.D. Thompson Park on June 2, DeKalb County police said.

The crime occurred between 1:50pm and 2:25pm, the police report said. The suspect got into the car by popping and breaking out the passenger side window and stole the 37-year-old victim's items, including $250 in cash.

The woman also told police credit cards from her wallet had already been used, and she had the card cut off.

Couple steals iPhone from package store employee
A couple walked into on Lavista Road and stole an employee's iPhone on June 1, DeKalb County police said.

A man and a woman walked into the store at 2836 Lavista Rd. at 2:30pm, and the woman distracted the employee, the police report said. While the employee turned to show the woman an item, the man took the phone from the counter.

The couple was captured on camera and drove a green Honda Accord.
