Oak Grove woman's home burglarized
An Oak Grove woman's home was burglarized Oct. 26, DeKalb County police said.

The 58-year-old woman's home, which sits in the 1600 block of Deerfield Circle, was burglarized between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., the police report said. The house appeared to have been searched, but nothing was taken.

Orange paint sprayed on man's car
A 37-year-old man who lives on Council Bluff Drive told DeKalb County police someone sprayed orange paint on his car last weekend.

The man who lives in the drive's 1700 block said the incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

Man arrested for heroin possession
A 35-year-old Atlanta man was arrested and charged with possession of heroin on North Druid Hills Road on Oct. 26, DeKalb County police said.

A police officer witnessed a blue Lexus SUV driving reckless on I-85 northbound at shortly after 4 p.m., the police report said. The vehicle stoppped at the Shell gas station at 2028 North Druid Hills Road where the officer confronted the driver. He noticed the driver was sweating, shaking and twitching, and he told the officer he was coming down from heroin addiction.

The officer also found a needle and .23 grams of heroin in the car. The driver was taken to Grady Hospital and then to DeKalb County Jail.
