Last Chance: Get Rid of Your Expired Drugs

DeKalb Police are accepting unused or expired medications for disposal on Saturday.

Do you have unused or expired medications at home? Here's a chance to dispose of these drugs in a secure and efficient way.

Bring them to any DeKalb County Police Department Precinct this Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where they will be disposed of safely. 

A Tucker Precinct Facebook post stated most abused prescription drugs come from family and friends, adding, "you could be a drug dealer and not even know it."  

DeKalb County Police precincts are located at:

1960 West Exchange Place, Tucker
1816 Candler Road, Decatur
2484 Bruce Street, Lithonia
4451 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker
