The suspect called again but did not give any reason for the threats. The store employee also told police the call came from a restricted number.

A Kroger security guard told police he is positioned in front of the store and saw no one bring a package inside. The guard and two police officers walked around the store to check for unusual packages or items and found none. The guard also said he didn't see any inside.

The shooter was likely referring to the July 20 massacre of 12 people inside an Aurora, Colo., movie theater during an opening night showing of The Dark Knight Rises, the third film in a trilogy about the comic book crime fighter, Batman. Fifty-eight other theatergoers were injured in the shooting, and 25-year-old James Eagan Holmes – then 24 – has been charged in the incident and awaits trial.
