Murder Charge in Area Weekend Stabbing
Men, apparently homeless, were arguing in woods near North Druid Hills-Briarcliff intersection.
A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of an unidentified man, 50, in the wooded area behind the QuikTrip at 2375 North Druid Hills Road. DeKalb police said both men were reportedly homeless.
Malcolm Black, 34, faces the murder charge after detectives said the two men allegedly got into an argument Sunday morning. The incident, previously unreported in Atlanta media, took place at approximately 1:20 a.m. Sunday, according to DeKalb Police Capt. Steve Fore.
Authorities were still working to identify the victim.
