Oak Grove Man Chases Intruders From Home

The incident occurred on Timberland Road on Monday morning.

An Oak Grove man chased a pair of intruders out of his Timberland Road home Monday morning, DeKalb County police said.

The 54-year-old man told police two men kicked in his carport door shortly after 11am and walked into the house in the 1600 block of Timberland Road, the police report said. The man yelled at them, demanding they leave and the men ran out of the house and fled in a small, light-colored vehicle.

Nothing was taken from the home. Another witness told police he saw two men speeding from the area in a white Honda with a damaged trunk at the time of the break-in, the report said. The trunk's right side had a verticle dent, the witness said.
