Nearly $2K in electronics stolen from North Druid Hills apartment
Nearly $2,000 worth of computer, music and video game equipment was stolen from a North Druid Hills Road apartment over the weekend, DeKalb County police said.

The 23-year-old woman told police she came home from a weekend camping trip Sunday to discover her Nintendo Wii, an Apple laptop computer and an iPod were taken from her apartment at the 3400 block of North Druid Hills Road sometime between Friday at 1pm and Sunday at 2am, according to the police report.

The victim's apartment did not have an alarm, and there were no signs of forced entry. The laptop was valued at $1,300, the Wii at $200 and the iPod at $275, the report said.

Resident reports bike stolen
A 45-year-old Montevallo Circle woman told DeKalb County police someone stole her bike Friday.

The woman, who lives at the 1400 block of Montevallo Circle, said her black Fuji bike valued at about $300 was stolen from beside her home, the police report said. The crime likely occurred between 4pm and 8:30pm, and there were no witnesses.
