A 40-year-old woman also told police she left her home in the 2800 block of Lincoln Drive at about 9am and returned at about 11:30pm to discover her large TV and several other items – together worth more than $5,000 – had been stolen.

A 29-year-old man told police his brother left their home in the 4300 block of Stratford Commons at about 10:30am, and he returned home at about 8:10pm, the police report said. The front door had been forced open. Two TVs, a computer, CDs and $40 in coins were stolen, totaling more than $2,000 worth of items.

And, finally, a man at home in the 4200 block of Stratford Commons told police his dog started barking and he heard a strange noise next door shortly after 2pm, the police report said. He looked through his peephole and watched three men leave the area via a stairwell until one of the men covered a peephole on his door. The man called the police and the neighboring homeowner.

When the the neighbor, an 84-year-old woman, arrived, she told police many items, including a flatscreen TV had been stolen. Jewlery, including a high school and college ring and a wedding band, were also gone. The stolen items were worth nearly $5,000.
