The man fled after handing a note to a Regions Bank teller in Toco Hill Shopping Center on Wednesday, a county official said.

A man robbed in Toco Hill Shopping Center with a note Wednesday afternoon, a DeKalb County official said Thursday.

The man walked into the bank at 2893 North Druid Hills Road and handed a note to the teller at about 2:05pm, said Tisa Washington, a county spokeswoman. The man fled on foot toward the grocery store in the shopping center.

Washington said she did not know what was on the note or how much money the man stole if any. No injuries were reported. The man was described as a white male between 50 and 55 years old, about 5 feet 3 inches and between 150 and 160 pounds, she said. He had short, gray hair and wore a fake gray mustache, a blue baseball cap, a camouflage jacket with no shirt underneath and reading glasses with silver frames.
