Woman Carjacked at Gunpoint Outside Ethiopian Restaurant

The incident occurred Saturday morning outside Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant on Woodcliff Drive.

A woman was carjacked at gunpoint outside Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant on Woodcliff Drive on Saturday morning, DeKalb County police said.

The woman, 29, of Smyrna was parked in front of the restaurant at 1594 Woodcliff Drive and was in the process of leaving when she was approached by two men with a gun at about 5:14 a.m., the police report said.

The men ordered her out of her car, a black 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, got in and drove away, headed south on Briarcliff Road.

About $1,000 worth of shoes and $500 in purses in the car were also lost in the robbery.
