Lakeside, Druid Hills Students Named County Youth Leaders
One student from Lakeside and six from Druid Hills graduated from the 10-month leadership training program May 7.
Thirty-two students from the Youth Leadership DeKalb Class of 2012 – including several from and Druid Hills high schools – graduated from the 10-month leadership training program and participated in a graduation ceremony held at Georgia Perimeter College on May 7.
The students, representing 15 public and private high schools in DeKalb County and the metro Atlanta area, received leadership training focused on understanding criminal justice, health, quality of life issues, business and entrepreneurship, government, finance and civic engagement.
