Coffee Shop Owner Looking to Open Mediterranean Restaurant

Tamar Telahun wants to open Food Therapy near the intersection of Clairmont and Briarcliff roads.

Remember Everbest Market near the intersection of Clairmont and Briarcliff roads? It shut down late last year.

A local coffee shop owner wants to open a Mediterranean restaurant called Food Therapy there.

Tamar Telahun, who is the owner of Therapy (a coffee shop and wine bar located on Briarcliff near the intersection of Clairmont), plans to open a new Mediterranean restaurant, called Food Therapy, in the former site of Mimi's in a Minute and the EverBest Market. Because she wants to extend Food Therapy's hours until 2:30 a.m., she will need a special permit from the County. She has invited the neighbors from Briarcliff Woods and Sagamore Hills to the proposed restaurant to let them know about her plans. She will be serving free desserts, coffee and tea at 7 p.m. at the location this Thursday, March 28. She hopes you can be there to see the proposed restaurant and meet her in person. The address is 3125 Briarcliff Road, Suite A.

More to come on this later.
