Georgia Walk to School Day

The Georgia Safe Routes to School Resource Center sponsors Georgia Walk to School Day each March. Schools are encouraged to host their events the first Wednesday in March, but can choose any day in March that best fits their needs. While the event is called Walk to School Day, the spirit of the event encourages walking or bicycling.

Check with your school to see if it is participating in this state-wide event.
