Hands On Atlanta/Rivers Alive Clean Up Day at Druid Hills Middle School

Come join volunteers from the Druid Hills Middle School and our Family of Companies: Oglethorpe Power, Georgia Transmission, Georgia System Operations and Georgia EMC (Family of Companies) as we hold our sixth annual Hands On Atlanta/Rivers Alive cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 6.  This year we will again work on the grounds of Druid Hills Middle School and the portion of Burnt Fork Creek that runs directly behind the school grounds.

There is a task for everyone — whether you choose to help clean the school grounds or work along the creek bed and the surrounding forest.  Some jobs are fairly rigorous, while others are less strenuous.  But everyone is assured of a morning of fun!

Family and friends are welcome to attend — but since we’ll be working around the creek, children under the age of eight are not eligible to help.
