Leave No Trace: Make a Difference in the Great Outdoors

Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, camping or just a picnic in the woods, learning about the principles of Leave No Trace will allow you to enjoy the outdoors while preserving the beauty and natural surroundings for those who follow you. In this class you will learn simple things you can do to make a difference in the great outdoors.

Brad Gilmer, the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 77 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, teaches Leave No Trace principles to adults and has been active in the outdoors for more than forty years.

Funding provided by the Friends of the Northlake-Barbara Loar Library.  Families are welcome.
