The Dekalb Master Gardener Association Meetings

August 27:  The Dekalb Master Gardener Association invites you to its program on native plants.  Representing the Georgia Native Plant Society (GNPS) will be Barbara Dorfman.   She will introduce a recorded presentation by Douglas Tallamy, Professor and Chair of the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware, based on his book Bringing Nature Home: How Native Plants Sustain Wildlife in our Gardens.

Also at the meeting will be Marlysa Raye-Jacobus.  A North Fulton Master Gardener since 1997, she has recently assumed the volunteer responsibility of Georgia Master Gardener Association (GMGA) Director for Forsyth, Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties.  Marlysa's mission is to be a liaison between local MG groups and GMGA.

Future meeting speakers to be announced.  Please check back.
