Henderson Middle Needs Grandparents to Volunteer After Budget Cuts

The school is not going to be able to staff its library during the entire school day, its PTSA said Monday.

Here's an interesting note from Henderson Middle School, which is still figuring out how to juggle budget cuts from the DeKalb County School System.

From a note sent by the school's PTSA on Monday.

Due to budget cuts, we have lost Media Center staff, so the Media Center will only be able to remain open during the entire school day with the help of Parent/Grandparent volunteers.  If you are available during school hours, please consider volunteering in the Media Center.  This is an excellent opportunity for non-English speaking Parents, or any Grandparents who would like to volunteer at HMS.  If you are able to help out, please contact Kendall Xides at thexquad@comcast.net.
