The dentists’ philanthropic effort includes an oral cancer screening, teeth cleaning, and X-rays prior to the whitening – services valued at more than $600 being offered in return for a $250 Valhalla donation. Checks are written directly to The Valhalla Project.

The Valhalla capital campaign’s initial goal is $1.5 million to benefit Lakeside Viking teams, physical education and the community-at-large by building an artificial turf soccer field, “30-to-30” yard line stadium seating and a concession stand for all outdoor school team sports. A second phase of the program may include a covered outdoor activities space for tennis, volleyball and marching band practices.

Vanstrom says he located his business here because of the proven success of the community, its education level and household incomes.

“Lakeside High has been, and continues to be, a cornerstone to our area. High academic achievement and athletic development make it one of the most inviting public high schools and a big reason many residents choose to live (here).”
