Sophia Academy Hosts All Saints Mass

Students and faculty paraded through the school Nov. 1 singing "When the Saints Go Marching In."

As part of the Catholic Church's celebration of All Saints Day, Sophia Academy held a special All Saints Mass on Thursday, Nov. 1. Students and faculty of the pre-K-10 school dressed as saints of their choice and paraded through the school, singing "When the Saints Go Marching In" on their way to Mass. Monsignor Hugh Marren of All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody presided over the Mass and presented a warm message on doing small things with great love much like the saints who have gone before. Sophia Academy is a small, private, Marist-sponsored school in DeKalb County that is currently seeking Catholic status.
