Sophia Academy Takes to the Sea

Each year, every student at Sophia Academy takes part in an annual music and theatrical production called "The Love Letter."  This thematic production is done as a display of love and thanks to all the people who support the school.  The theme of this year's Love Letter was Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid," with middle school students giving a dramatic performance and K-5 students showcasing their singing talent with Under the Sea-themed music.  Directed by Drama and Art Teacher, Mrs. Tracey Buot, along with musical direction from Music Teacher Mrs. Laurie Plate, the show was a smash hit, complete with glittering costumes and witty dialogue.

Sophia Academy supports the Fine Arts and seeks to aid students in self expression through visual art, music, and drama.
