Forefront Arts is offering a FREE trial class for our Improvisation class for ages 7-14 at Haygood United Methodist Church.
The class will be Tuesday, September 11 4:30-5:30 pm. September 11 is the first day and the class will run through December 11 with a performance on the last day.
During the Improv class our students will learn the "rules" of improvisational performance and will practice them using fun games and activities. Using improv and theatre exercises, acting and vocal technique, and character-building creative play we'll work together to write, rehearse, and stage our own show of improvised scenes. Students will perform an improv showcase for parents at the end of the semester. If you've ever seen the show "Whose Line Is It Anyway" you know how much fun improv can be! What a great way to boost confidence and develop public-speaking and teamwork skills while having fun!
