Lakeside Names New Football Coach
The school has hired Heath Hinton, formerly the assistant coach at Walnut Grove High School, to coach the football team.
Lakeside has a new football coach, the school announced this week.
The school's PTSA sent out an email to supporters naming Heath Hinton the new head coach.

It's with great excitement and pleasure that the Lakeside Touchdown Club announces the hiring of our new head football coach, Coach Heath Hinton. Coach Hinton was the Assistant Football Coach at Walnut Grove High School. Prior to Walnut Grove, he spent 6 years as Assistant Football Coach at Brookwood High School. He also served in football coaching capacities at Telfair and Coffee High Schools.
There will be a Parent meeting to introduce Coach Hinton this Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 6:30 pm in the Lakeside Cafeteria.
Coach Hinton plans to meet with the players early next week. Join us on Wednesday and meet Coach Hinton and hear his plans for the future of Lakeside Football. See you Wednesday. Go Vikings!!!!!
