Lakeside Win Over Dunwoody Ends 17-Game Losing Streak

Also, Druid Hills lost to Chamblee, 28-21.

The last time the Vikings won a football game was almost two years ago on September 17, 2010 when they nipped Redan 7-6.

That was 17 games ago and two football seasons, but the Vikings (1-1) ended that behind the play of offensive stars Nick Alexander and Bradley Earnest along with a defense led by Kyle Smith in a 28-14 victory over the Dunwoody Wildcats (0-2) on Friday night at Adams Stadium.

Alexander threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns and Earnest added two scores on the ground in the Vikings’ win.
