Support Injured Police, Firemen at Oak Grove Market Fundraiser

The fundraiser and raffle will be held at the market from 11am - 2pm Saturday.

If you want to support injured police and firemen, stop by this Saturday.

The popular restaurant and market is hosting a fundraiser that will include local DeKalb County police officers, the K-9 unit, members of the Bomb Squad and the SWAT team.

A $10 raffle ticket purchase will also give you a chance to win a medium-sized Big Green Egg smoker worth about $800, according to the market's Facebook page.

The fundraiser is being put on by Contribute2America, a nonprofit organization that helps the homeless in the Atlanta area. The organization is run by market co-owner Jeremy Turner, a former county police officer himself.
