Seed & Feed Marching Abominable Celebrates 40 years

It’s been forty years since the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable emerged as the unique entity it is to make music, mischief, mayhem and memories to the residents of Atlanta and surrounding suburbs.

 This year marks a milestone for the Seed & Feed showing up at local parades, weddings, vineyard awakenings and so much more bringing their special brand of entertainment and merrymaking to events, not only around the southern region of the United States, but to locations in the Northeast (Boston), Southwest, (Austin) and most recently the great Northwest (Seattle);

 In their typical, nonconforming fashion, the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable is celebrating their anniversary with performances to surprise and delight communities and neighborhoods surrounding metro Atlanta a.  Known as “blitzes,” band members, will converge on unsuspecting eateries, parks and other public spaces; play a few tunes and meander onward to the next location.   Beginning mid-March, during the “40 Blitzes in 40 days,” the band will gather, at various locations throughout town, garbed in their colorful wardrobes and perform with all the theatrics and high-energy music for which they are known.  In the past, Decatur Square has been a popular venue for the band to make an appearance.
