Week Ahead: School's Out, Rock Fest, Author Signing and More
The week ahead in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.
- SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER AT NORTHLAKE MALL: Wednesday. Northlake Mall invites you to grab your little ones and celebrate the last day of school! Enjoy a mini carnival with activities including a bouncy house, balloon artist and more!
- Georgia Rock Fest at Fernbank Science Center: Thursday. The event celebrates Georgia’s rocks, minerals, fossils, and geologic wonders. Rock Fest coincides with the release of Roadside Geology of Georgia, the first book on Georgia’s geology written for a general audience by geologists.
- : Thursday. Following the events of The Last Colony, John Scalzi tells the story of the fight to maintain the unity of the human race.
- Yoga for all levels: Tuesday at Briarcliff United Methodist Church. Hatha yoga for mixed level. Seniors are welcome as well as other age groups.
- Farm Mobile Stop: Friday. Farm Mobile is Riverview Farm's farmers market on wheels making the rounds in Atlanta. Inside, shoppers will find shelves stocked with organic locally grown produce, free range eggs, H&F Breads, local cheeses, and our own organic grits, cornmeal and polenta.
