Here's a list of things going on this weekend in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area:
- Oak Groove Festival: The festival will feature local businesses, artists, entertainers from the areas of Sagamore Hills, Oak Grove, Leafmore-Creek Park, Briarlake, Shallowford, Hawthorne and North Briarcliff and surrounding areas.
- Brookhaven Farmers Market: New location for the Brookhaven Farmer's Market. Starts Saturday, 5/4! Eat local!
- The Birds and the Bees Day at Fernbank Science Center: This free event has plenty to offer anyone with an interest in ornithology or apiculture. Fernbank staff, as well as the Atlanta Audubon Society, The Chattahoochee Nature Center, and Wild Birds Unlimited, will be on hand to explain, show, and answer questions on birds and bees. A bird photography contest will be judged, and winners announced, during the morning.
- Henderson Mill Elementary School's Spring Carnival: Games! Food! Prizes! Cake Walk! Facepainting! Inflatables! Photo Booth! Community Welcome! Invite Friends, Family and Neighbors!
- Mary Hardin-Baylor Concert Choir: At Briarcliff United Methodist Church on Sunday.
