New Battery Shop Quietly Opens in Shamrock Plaza

The Batteries Plus shop has been open for about more than a month, a store employee said.

This isn't super-hard breaking news, but I know some residents on the western end of the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area don't often get to Shamrock Plaza, so it's probably news to them: a new battery and light bulb shop recently opened. Batteries Plus, part of a nationwide chain, opened more than a month ago in the shopping center, which had been struggling with several vacancies for the last few years.
