St. Pius Swimmers to Ink Scholarships Today
Haley Durmer, Mary Elizabeth King and Chandler Ryberg, all record holders, will head to Division I schools.
Three St. Pius swimmers will sign national letters-of-intent with NCAA Division I programs today at 3:15pm in the Donnellan Center. Haley Durmer, Mary Elizabeth King and Chandler Ryberg will sign with two Atlantic Coast Conference, and one Southeastern Conference school, respectively, in the ceremony. "These three swimmers have been the heart and soul of this team since the beginning as freshman here at St. Pius," head coach Scott Carter said in a statement. "Their performances are a big reason why the team has accomplished what is has during their time here." Durmer, a four-time All-American in several events, will sign with the University of Virginia.
