Children's Healthcare Moving Into Old 19-Story Hotel
The company bought the aging building for $9.6 million.
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is moving into one of North Druid Hills' bigger, unofficial landmarks. The company, which operates numerous children's hospitals in the metro Atlanta area, paid $9.6 million for the 19-story high-rise – known at one point as the Executive Park Motor Hotel – at 1447 Northeast Expressway and North Druid Hills Road, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle. From the Jan. 3 story: The purchase of the hotel is part of the overall development plan for that park, said Children’s Healthcare spokeswoman Patty Gregory. Im hope its for the better I was suprise the Building was still up I was security there between 2006-2007. I thought it was gona be renovated then because the Pattni Group Bought it i there was a rendering showing it was supposed to be a sheraton.
