New Computers, Whiteboards Coming to Henderson, Druid Hills Middle Schools
The investment was unanimously passed by the school board Monday evening.
Students at Henderson and Druid Hills middle schools will see some new technology in their classrooms next year following a Monday DeKalb County Board of Education vote. Henderson Middle will receive 26 new Dell desktops and 11 new interactive whiteboards. Druid Hills will receive 42 Dell desktops and 12 interactive white boards. The school board voted unanimously to allocate about $86,000 to Henderson Middle School and about $111,000 to Druid Hills Middle School for additional technological infrastructure Monday evening. The investment will support IT instructional programs at the two schools.
