County Police Warn About Backyard Work Scam

The scammers approach you at home and ask about tree work or utility work and say they need to see your backyard. Meanwhile...

DeKalb County police's North and Center precincts are warning residents this week about a growing robbery scam in the area. The Washington Post says ecoATMs work like this: An ecoATM can operate without a human being. The kiosk automatically scans a person’s ID, snaps a picture of the customer and takes a fingerprint. It then automatically checks the unique phone ID against a local database, which is updated regularly. If the ID isn’t on the list, the machine dispenses cash to the user. Booker said police have not linked any local …

Amazing I am one of the few "old democrats" in the hood, I did not vote for Obama though, he has fooled so many and divided this country. Liberal Decatur will allow these robberies, thefts, of women and others to go on until someone is killed. Then you will speak out. Your Walmart is coming soon, I hope you are proud, 95% did not want it and 95% sat on their ass the last two years. Good job …   more ›
