Seven Hens 'Delivers Tasty Chicken Cutlet'

The new North Decatur schnitzel restaurant is winning plaudits for its "cheap eats."

Remember when we told you about Seven Hens, the new schnitzel restaurant in North Decatur? Well, the joint is already earning plaudits from fans, including a critic at Creative Loafing. From a review in this month's issue: Of the various country combinations, almost all make for a satisfying sandwich or salad. I found the American to be the lone clunker, with a mix of Cajun seasoning and barbecue sauce that tastes way too much like artificial potato chip flavoring. The Indian packs a lot of flavor with its sweet curried yogurt sauce, Indian spices, and crisp cucumber salad with cilantro. The Mexican spices things up with a nice duo of chipotle aïoli and cilantro mojo sauce — for a healthier version, I recommend choosing the grilled chicken…

'Resident Evil: Retribution' a Non-Stop Zombie Bloodbath

The "Resident Evil" franchise is back with a fifth movie. There is plenty of action and plenty of zombies, all in 3D. Simply put, it may be the best one yet.

Milla Jovovich jumps back into her role as Alice. This time, she is trapped inside a compound making this a great rescue mission, as she tries to escape the land of zombies in Resident Evil: Retribution. Fans of the franchise will love the resurrection of some familiar actors from other Resident Evil movies along with some new ones. This film feels more like a video game than previous films because Alice has to go through different levels to escape. The acting overall is not that great. But fans of the franchise aren't there for that. It's all about the action, and there is plenty of it. The Moscow scene involving a Rolls-Royce car chase and Russian zombies was perhaps my favorite. New North Decatur Schnitzel Restaurant Featured on CBS

Seven Hens was featured on the network's Better Mornings Atlanta program this week.

North Decatur's new schnitzel restaurant got some nice play on CBS this week. Seven Hens, which has been open three weeks in North Decatur Plaza on North Decatur Road, was featured on the network's Better Mornings Atlanta program. Michael Gurevich, the restaurant's owner, was interviewed on the show. "Schnitzel is big in Israel where I come from, so I thought, 'Hey, fried chicken with a little twist?
