The FBI is looking for a man it said robbed a series of banks and stores throughout the metro Atlanta area, including a Wells Fargo in Northlake on Tuesday afternoon. The bureau issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for Michael Jerome Winfield, 46, of Atlanta for the armed robbery of the bank at 4099 Lavista Road, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. DeKalb County's police report said the suspect walked into the bank at about 4:30 p.m., asked about opening a new account and was directed to an employee. The suspect pulled out a black handgun and placed it on the counter with the gun barrel pointed at the employee.
