Married to Nancy (25 years). Three sons: Ben, Nathaniel and Micah.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ. Grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL. In-between, lived in Brasil, Pittsburgh and Iowa.

Graduated from Journalism School at the University of Alabama in 1982; Master of Divinity from Columbia Seminary in 1985; MBA from the Eugene Stetson School of Business, Mercer University, 1999.

Employed by DeKalb Medical; attends Clairmont Presbyterian Church; member of the Stone Mountain Rotary Club.
