A gas main leak at the HoneyBaked Ham on Buford Highway led to an hours-long closure of the busy road Monday.
Both lanes of traffic were closed until about 1 p.m. at North Druid Hills Road.
The recent gas leaks in the area over the last four to five months have alarmed residents who oppose the Atlanta Gas Light regulator station being built in the Peachtree-DeKalb Airport flight path.
In a story first reported here on Patch, AGL is replacing portions of its so-called Eastside Pipeline. It is also building a gas regulator pipeline station directly in DeKalb-Peachtree Airport's flight path, which has some residents worried about potential public safety issues.
