Lakeside One Act Play Heads to State
Play Team wins regional title, travels to Perry, Ga. Saturday.

The Lakeside One Act Play Team, with their presentation of Ken Ludwig's Midsummer/Jersey, once again won the Region 6AAAAA title on Saturday, Oct. 19. The team will travel to Perry, Ga., on Nov. 2 to compete at the state level against such theatre arts powerhouses as Northside Warner Robbins, Forsyth Central and Lee County High.
Individual region awards were also earned by Sam Ashby-Best Actor, Grace McKenna-Best Actress, and six of the eight Region All-Star Cast: Len Berg, Clayton Chambers, Seth Gregson, Tracy Moore, Lydia Podowitz and Becca Riley. Directed by Mrs. Nicole Nappo, the cast also includes Kate Berg, Abby Bocenic, Megan Bryant, May May Carr, Sean Crowson, Ross Cudmore, Avery Evans, Jenny Guzdial, Ben Hoover, Dani Klekot, Trupti Patel, and Eleanor Walsh. The artistic and technical crew includes Shencheh Akuchu, Emma Antenen, Merlyn Banda, Logan Brammer, Jessica Bryant, Jennifer Casabonne, Kayla Chapman, Erin Cunefare, Elena Dabby, Camille Dickerson, Nikki Javo, Kaylee Milani, Mitchell Patterson, Yoshua Ruperto, Libby Sinner, Hillary Sklar, Ally Spann, Dashiell Wakeman, and Mia Zacharias.
