Not sure what to do this weekend? Patch has a few ideas, whether you want to help out in the community, enjoy a lot of good food, make a little money or see a movie.

1.

When/Where: All day Saturday and Sunday at Spring Street and 5th Street, Atlanta

Find out what's happening in North Druid Hills-Briarcliffwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Why Go? Every year, Taste of Atlanta spotlights the culinary offerings of restaurants from all over the city, including some from the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area such as Bhojanic and Desta. There are also chef demos and live music. The $25 entry fee includes 10 taste coupons. (It's a good idea to take MARTA to the event.)

When/Where: Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm at 1003 Vistavia Circle, Decatur

Why Go? There's so much for sale, including furniture, costume jewelry, china, antiques, appliances and more. People looking for treasures might just find something interesting here.

3.

When/Where: Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm at North DeKalb Mall, 2050 Lawrenceville Highway, Decatur

Why Go? If you have some old tomes you want to sell, you can rent a table for $20 and give it a try, or just check out what your neighbors have on offer.

4. Clean-Ups: , ,

When/Where: All are on Saturday starting at 8 am (LaVista) or 9 am (St. Bartholomew's and Sagamore) at their respective locations; check event links for address details

Why Go? With the changing of the seasons comes a new set of issues for grounds that need volunteer help to stay beautiful. If you go, definitely wear layers since it has grown colder recently. Also take note of any requirements for sign-up or bringing your own tools.

5. Go See Paranormal Activity 3

When/Where: See showtimes here for AMC North DeKalb 16 or here for Movie Tavern

Why Go? The third offering in the popular Paranormal Activity series shifts action to the year 1988, showing the Katie and Kristi characters from the previous incarnations as kids in a home plagued by mysterious noises. It has a very high rating on Rotten Tomatoes considering that it's both a horror movie and a prequel, plus it's very appropriate since Halloween is soon!
